The Project aim meets one of the key objective of the Trust i.e. increase the knowledge base of the underprivileged children and young adult through education medium, resulting in self-sustainability. As such it fits well with Education First drive for literacy development.
At Education First, we are dedicated to addressing barriers that prevent girls from accessing education and living with dignity. Born out of a recognition of the challenges faced by young girls in rural and economically disadvantaged schools in Fiji.
In today’s evolving educational landscape, traditional methods of learning are rapidly being reshaped by technology. Knowledge dissemination and creation are dominated by the internet, with platforms like Blogs, Wikis, social media and AI, allowing for vast collaboration and shared knowledge.
At Education First Trust, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education and opportunities that pave the way for a brighter future. Across Fiji and New Zealand,
we work hand in hand with educators, sponsors and donors to provide essential educational resources that enable learning, foster growth, and inspire success.

Education First Trust (EFT) is a New Zealand registered charity that was established in 2010. Its primary purpose is to reduce poverty to a negligible level through the provision of educational support and related activities to the underprivileged children.
